eNAT®
eNAT® is a molecular specimen collection and transport device designed to inactivate microorganisms while preserving DNA and RNA for reliable molecular diagnostic testing.
Combining FLOQSwab® technology with a guanidinium thiocyanate-based transport medium, eNAT® helps inactivate nucleases and stabilise DNA and RNA from viruses, bacteria, Chlamydia, protozoa and Mycoplasma. The medium also helps lyse cell membranes and prevent bacterial proliferation, supporting the preservation of nucleic acid integrity during transport.
eNAT® combines collection, inactivation, preservation and transport within a single ready-to-use device, helping simplify pre-analytical workflows and reduce manual handling. Available with or without a FLOQSwab®, eNAT® preserves nucleic acids for up to 28 days at 5–25°C and six months at -20°C and supports molecular-based assays and next-generation sequencing through manual or automated workflows.
